Tây Bắc Sweet Corn Has Landed in Japan, Tokyo, on the Morning of April 23, 2025
Vietnam’s fresh and delicious sweet corn has officially “landed” in Japan, marking another significant step forward in the journey of bringing Vietnamese agricultural products to the world, led by Econect Co., Ltd.

The first shipment of corn has been displayed in major supermarket chains in Tokyo and Osaka. This is the result of a collaboration between Econect Co., Ltd. and its Japanese partner ViPro, following months of negotiations and stringent quality inspections.
The quality has been well-received by the Japanese.
Vietnamese corn exported to Japan is a high-quality sweet corn variety, cultivated according to GlobalG.A.P standards and subjected to strict inspections. With its mild sweetness, tender kernels, and attractive appearance, the product has quickly received positive feedback from Japanese consumers.

A Journey into a Demanding Market
To enter the Japanese market, Vietnamese corn had to undergo a strict plant quarantine process, along with an internationally standardized cold chain transportation and preservation system. This represents a significant effort by Econect to bring the authentic taste of Vietnamese corn to overseas Vietnamese and discerning consumers abroad.
The arrival of Tây Bắp Sweet Corn on store shelves in Japan is a positive and promising sign, affirming the quality of Vietnamese agricultural products and the ambition to reach global markets. It also reflects the guiding principle of Econect in promoting Vietnamese agriculture on the international stage.
